We have an ex-racing greyhound who was diagnosed with bone cancer in his hind leg. He is already 10 years-old and we were led to expect he would only have a few months, so we chose to forego amputation and chemotherapy and provide palliative care instead.
He was taking various meds and herbs, but about 3 months in, we had to stop giving him [a prescription anti-inflammatory medication] due to stomach bleeding, and looked for another way to ease his pain. That’s when we found VETCBD.
It has now been nearly 5 months since his diagnosis and we have been using VETCBD for the last 6 weeks. It seems to effectively ease discomfort between doses of the other meds, and he is still in good spirits with a good appetite. We are trying to give this pup as many good days as we can, and are very glad to have an option for pain management that doesn’t cause damage in other ways.
